Victor Oladipo Puts Dwight Howard on a Poster with Monster Dunk (Video)

Russell Westbrook may be averaging a triple-double for the season, but it was Victor Oladipo who stole the show on Monday night in Atlanta. At least for one play.

Westbrook succeeded in extending his historic triple-double streak to six games, dominating another one with a 32-point, 13-rebound, 12-assist performance. (He’s pretty good!) However, Westbrook did not put Hawks’ superstar center Dwight Howard on a poster with an epic dunk. That was Oladipo.

Midway through the second quarter the 24-year-old shooting guard took a pass from Domantas Sabonis in the corner, blew past Tim Hardaway Jr. with a quick step to the baseline, and threw down a dunk-of-the-year candidate—a powerful double-clutch jam—right in Dwight Howard’s face.

As you watch, keep in mind that Dwight Howard is 6’11”, while Oladipo is just 6’4″. For those of you who struggle at math, that’s a height differential of seven inches.

Take a look:

In the end Oladipo only finished with 14 points. But Howard only scored six, probably because he was so humiliated by that dunk.

Also, the Thunder came away with a 102-99 win on the road to stay right there in the middle of the Western Conference playoff pack.
