Seahawks CB Richard Sherman Threatens to “Ruin Career’ of Seahawks Reporter (Audio)
This is not a good look.
On Friday, Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman revealed that he yelled at offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and head coach Pete Carroll for throwing the ball on the 1-yard line against the Rams, instead of trying to punch it in with a run.
The Seahawks were up 10-3 at the time and the play in question was nearly intercepted. The Seahawks did end up scoring just two plays later.
Sherman was asked about that situation again on Tuesday by Seattle radio host Jim Moore. Apparently the Hawks’ CB wasn’t having any of it. Hr even threatened to have Moore’s media credentials revoked.
Moore asked if Sherman had a ‘better handle’ of what should have been called and Sherman had this to say:
“No, I just had a, we had a prior experience (the Super Bowl) so we talked about it,” Sherman replied. “But let me guess — you have a better play to call. Let me guess, you have a better experience.”
Moore said he did not have a better play, so Sherman asked him to stop talking about it. After the press conference, Sherman passed Moore in a walkway that led out of the auditorium, and he had one more thing to say to him.
“You don’t want to go there,” Sherman said. “You do not. I’ll ruin your career.”
