Watch: Kid Immediately Regrets Decision to Participate in Milwaukee Bucks Dance Contest (Video)
Sometimes you commit to doing something that seems like a good idea, only to find out that, no, it was actually a terrible idea. Like going to a friend’s improv show, or carpooling with that guy from accounting, or taking part in an on-court dance contest during halftime at an NBA game.
Maybe you know something about the first two scenarios. A cute kid from Milwaukee named Sam knows all about the last one.
Sam was at the Bucks-Wizards game in Milwaukee on Sunday when he got selected to take part in their “Dance for Your Dinner” dance contest. He and two other boys were supposed to dance for 15 seconds. Then the crowd would cheer for the best dancer, and that kid would get a $100 gift certificate to a restaurant.
Sam went first, and he started out pretty strong. However, after a few seconds he became acutely aware of the fact that 16,000 people were watching him dab. And he just shut down.
Take a look:
I don’t know how the other two kids did, but I have a pretty strong feeling that one of them won the gift certificate.
Hopefully Sam isn’t scarred for life by this traumatic experience.
