Most believed after he attended the NFC divisional game between the Falcons and Seahawks, that Goodell naturally would head to New England on championship weekend to see the Patriots take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nope.
Pats fans are still not over Deflategate and I’m sure Goodell would rather not get heckled by fans or see signs about him—not to mention it’s going to be freezing cold.
Goodell hasn’t been to a game in Foxboro since before the “Deflategate” saga in the 2014 playoffs, and he plans to continue that streak.
