Antonio Brown Apologizes for Locker Room Video After Mike Tomlin Calls Him “Selfish” and “Foolish” (Video + Tweet)
Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin did not mince words on Tuesday when discussing Antonio Brown‘s locker room video.
Following the Steelers’ win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, Brown broke team and NFL rules by streaming Tomlin’s locker room speech on Facebook Live.
While speaking to the media on Tuesday, Tomlin called Brown foolish, selfish, and inconsiderate.
Tomlin went on to talk about how some star players bounce around from team to team because their off-the-field antics prove too distracting.
“I definitely don’t want that to be his story,” Tomlin said. “I’m sure he doesn’t want that to be his story. So he has to address these things that put him and us in positions from time to time, in settings such as this that need to be addressed.”
It remains to be seen what punishment the Steelers and/or the league will come up with. However, it seems as though Brown got the message.
Late Tuesday night the All-Pro wide receiver posted an official apology on Twitter:
