Cab Driver Says John Elway Is #1 QB of All Time, Has No Idea Elway Is Actually in His Cab (Video)
Lots of athletes have gone undercover as Lyft drivers to fool unsuspecting fans. NFL Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway recently did the exact opposite without even trying.
Over the weekend, Elway, his wife, and two friends traveled to Washington D.C. for the Presidential Inauguration. While there they found themselves riding in a cab driven by a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan. So Elway’s friend, Glenn Stearns, asked the driver, whose name is Sam Snow, to list his top three quarterbacks of all time.
Sam’s answer? The man who beat his Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1998 AFC Championship Game en route to his first Super Bowl Championship: John Elway. However, Sam had no idea that Elway was actually in the car. The Broncos legend had his coat collar popped, he was wearing sunglasses, and he was sitting in the backseat.
As you can imagine, the dude was shocked to learn that Elway was actually in his backseat.
Take a look:
Things did get a little awkward when they start talking about who would sleep with Elway, but overall that’s a pretty amazing video.
That said, it should be noted that ranking Ben Roethlisberger third all-time ahead of Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, Steve Young, Troy Aikman, and Aaron Rodgers is pretty questionable. I mean, Big Ben is good, but come on, Sam!
