Antonio Brown has had a rough couple of weeks. First he got hit with a $10,000 fine for streaming coach Mike Tomlin‘s locker room speech on Facebook Live. Then the Steelers got bounced by the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. And, most recently, the NFL Network reported that Brown was “pouting” about not getting the ball during the season-ending loss.

On Wednesday, Brown decided it was time to address his critics. So, fresh off that six-figure endorsement deal with Facebook, he took to the social media platform to explain himself and try to “quiet the noise.”

“There’s been a lot of reports, a lot of different people saying a lot of different things,” Brown says from the comfort of a private plane, apparently in reference to the NFL Network report. “You guys know the truth.”

The video goes on for 14 minutes and eventually devolves into shots of Brown’s kids and plugs for upcoming events. Luckily the part about “quieting the noise” comes in the first few minutes. Take a look:

Interestingly, on Wednesday Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger was asked about Brown’s alleged pouting during the AFC Championship game during an appearance on 93.7 The Fan. He definitely did not deny it.

“He’s one of the best in the business, and the plays that he makes and has made over his career are so special,” Big Ben said. “I think sometimes that overshadows the extra stuff: the hands up, the arms up, the frustrations, the pouting, the things like that.”

Sounds like Antonio Brown may need to look to himself to “quiet the noise.”
