Despite Breaking Her Wrist, Sarah Thomas Finished Officiating The Packers-Vikings Game
During a week 16 match-up between the Green Bay Packers & Minnesota Vikings, line judge Sarah Thomas became the talk of the game when she took a hit on the sidelines. Her head snapped back violently as it smacked the ground and she was quickly put into concussion protocol.
NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino told ESPN’s Jane McManus that wasn’t the end of that story. Thomas actually suffered a broken bone in her wrist, but stayed in to finish the game.
