Jimmy Kimmel Gives Us Brand New NFL Mean Tweets Just in Time for Super Bowl (Video)
There are a lot of great recurring bits on the various late night talkshows, but none of them are better than Jimmy Kimmel Live‘s Mean Tweets.
If you’re not familiar with the bit, perhaps because you live under a rock or have been in a coma for the last five years (in which case you’re never going to believe who’s President of the United States), Kimmel’s Mean Tweets is basically just famous people sitting down in front of the camera and reading the awful things people are saying about them on Twitter while REM’s “Everybody Hurts” plays in the background. It’s such a simple premise, and it never fails to disappoint.
This week, with Super Bowl 51 coming up on Sunday, Kimmel brought in a bunch of NFL players for another NFL edition of Mean Tweets. There’s Odell Beckham Jr., J.J. Watt, Rob Gronkowski, and even Tony Romo, who has to be the bravest man alive for even thinking about reading some of the shit people say about him.
The result hilarious, as always. See for yourself:

No offense, Joey Bosa.
