Falcons Forced to Cancel Rally Because Not Enough Fans in Houston For The Super Bowl
If you know anything about sports in Atlanta, then you know just how bad the fan base is down there for every single major sports franchise they have. The Atlanta Hawks, Braves, Thrashers, Falcons, and even the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets all have (or had) a hard time selling out on a consistent basis.
For the first time since 1999, the Atlanta Falcons have advanced to the Super Bowl, but it doesn’t seem like many fans made the trip with them down to Houston for support.
The team had a scheduled pep rally for the team at 2:00pm, but it was cancelled last minute because of the lack of fans in H-town.
FYI: Falcons rally at 3 PM has been canceled. Apparently not enough fans. I’m not kidding. Pats fans outnumbering ATL fans 10 to 1. #NOBPats
