Troubled Former Cowboys RB Joseph Randle Allegedly Assaulted His Prison Inmate
Since June 19th, Joseph Randle, once a promising star for the Dallas Cowboys, has been held in a Wichita prison awaiting trial for four other charges, including trying to run over pedestrians, evading police, threatening to kill an officer, and ripping a TV off a wall.
And now he’s got a fifth charge to worry about.
Randle allegedly assaulted a fellow inmate in Sedgwick County jail. It’s unclear exactly what happened last Friday to earn the charge, but Randle insists he’s the one who was punched and he tried to de-escalate the situation by running away. Not likely, but it will be added to his increasingly growing court docket.
He’s pleaded not guilty to all charges.
