Report: James Dolan Was Scared Oakley Was at Game So He Called Top Flight Security Of The World on Him
It’s been a few hours now and the story is starting to get clearer about what exactly happened and why former New York Knicks enforcer Charles Oakley tussled with security before being forcibly carried out of MSG, arrested, and charged with 3 counts of assault.
“Oakley told the Daily News moments after being released from Midtown South police station at around midnight that the Garden security asked him to leave because Dolan did not want him there.”
“I was there for four minutes,” Oakley said late Wednesday night. “I didn’t say anything to him. I swear on my mother. They came over and wanted to know why I was sitting there. I bought the ticket. I said why do you guys keep staring at me. Then they asked me to leave. And I said I’m not leaving”
Charles Oakley says he purchased his own tickets. When Knicks realized that he was seated behind James Dolan they asked him why was he here.
