Golfer Needs to Hole Out from 101 Yards Away to Make Playoff…Guess What Happens? (Video)
I tend to agree with most people that golf is not an exciting sport. But there’s something about the slow pace of play that makes the exciting moments exist on a whole new level.
Take, for instance, this scenario at the Web.com Tour stop at the Club Colombia championship. Golfer Ethan Tracy was 101 yards away from the hole, needing to sink that shot to make eagle and get in the playoff.
Well, he did, to everyone’s surprise.

“Never a doubt” might be overselling his abilities a bit, but we get the idea.
Not one to squander his good fortune, Tracy won the playoff and the tournament, just his fourth ever on this tour.
“I was just grateful to be in the playoff,” said Tracy. “Somehow I made a great shot, and I was fortunate that it went in. I capitalized on a good shot in the playoff with a great putt. Overall, the 18th was pretty good to me.”
