Andrew Wiggins Posterizes Nikola Jokic with Monster Jam and Now He’s Dead (Video)
The Minnesota Timberwolves are a paradox. They are at the same time both terrible and amazing—terrible in the sense that they don’t win that many basketball games, but amazing in the sense that their roster is loaded with brilliant young players who churn out superhuman highlight reel plays on a daily basis.
Seriously, it doesn’t make any sense. Ricky Rubio is top-five in assists, Karl-Anthony Towns is the 2015-16 Rookie of the Year, Andrew Wiggins is the 2014-15 Rookie of the Year, and Zach LaVine is the two-time defending dunk contest champion. How this team is just 22-35 at the All-Star break is beyond me.
The latest incredible Timberwolves highlight comes from Andrew Wiggins. With five minutes to play in Thursday night’s game against the Nuggets and the Timberwolves clinging to a seven-point lead, Wiggins blew past his defender at the top of the key and threw down an epic dunk right in the face of 6’10” power forward Nikola Jokic.
Just how epic are we talking about here? Listen to the reaction from Nuggets fans inside Denver’s Pepsi Center. It sounds like they just saw Jokic get run over by a garbage truck.

Thanks in no small part to that vicious dunk, Minnesota actually did hold on to win this game, 112-99. In case you were wondering.
