Michael Strahan Says ‘Tackling Tom Brady Made Him Feel Like Gisele’
You would think that football players slam each other to the ground often enough that they don’t really get a weird personal connection to the people they take down.
You would be wrong. At least if you were talking about Michael Strahan‘s feelings about tackling Tom Brady.
The former NFL star-turned-TV host spoke with Women’s Wear Daily to talk about the conflicting emotions that course through his body after tackling the league’s golden boy QB.
It got weird.
“You’ve never lived unless you’ve hit Tom Brady. Not just Brady but any quarterback.
“Like, you hit a guy, hit a grown man, and you hear the life and the breath leave his body. There’s something very empowering about that. Then, you hit Brady, you sack him and you land on Brady. And you get up and you’re, like, ‘Boy, I see what Gisele is feeling. You know, I just laid down with Tom Brady. That was cool.’”
You got all that?
Well, I guess whatever motivates him to get the sack. But how many other players feel this way?
