Bears CB Deiondre Hall, Packers CB Makinton Dorleant Arrested and Tased in Iowa (VIDEOS)
Another day. Another NFLer arrested…Or, in this case, two!
Chicago Bears cornerback Deiondre Hall and Packers cornerback Makinton Dorleant were arrested early Sunday morning following a fight at a bar in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
According to police, Hall and Dorleant were involved in a brawl outside Sharkey’s. Police say they saw Hall in the middle of the fight, and when they tried to remove him, he resisted and spit in the face of one officer.
Here’s how KCRG describes what happened next to Hall:
“Police said the could smell alcohol on Hall’s breath, his eyes were bloodshot and watery, his speech was slurred, and he had trouble maintaining his balance. Officers put Hall in handcuffs but he refused to get into a squad car. An officer used a Tazer on Hall’s left leg to get him to comply with orders.”
Hall’s list of chargers include disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and interference with official acts.
As for Dorleant, he apparently tried to grab Hall from the police officers. At one point, after successfully getting his former Northern Iowa teammate away from the cops, reports indicate that Dorleant made a threatening gesture towards officers.
After continuously approaching and threatening the officers on the scene, Dorleant was eventually arrested for interference with official acts.
Both players were detained at Black Hawk County Jail.
