Draymond Green Says He Punched Harden’s Wrist Because He Was Being Pinched (VIDEO)
Last night, the Golden State Warriors handled the Houston Rockets for the second time in less than a week, but the talk after the game had nothing to do with basketball.
Cameras caught Draymond Green punching the sore left wrist of James Harden during a play, an incident that’s been universally decried as “dirty.” Green said after the game he had a very valid reason for doing what he did.
“He pinched me, so I punched his wrist,” Green said after the Warriors’ 107-98 win over the Rockets, according to ESPN’s Calvin Watkins. “That’s pretty much it. He does it often actually, which is kind of adolescent, but whatever.”
This dirty play by Draymond is just sad to see, Harden’s wrist is hurt and he just takes a cheap shot. pic.twitter.com/9KPZ6voOjm

Green was whistled for a foul on the play and promptly sent to the bench.
