LaVar Ball Says Dark Skin Players Go To The Basket Harder Than Light Skin Players (Audio)
It’s been almost two weeks since LaVar Ball has made waves with his controversial comments that he loves to make to anybody who will give him the platform to do so.
He put that silence to an end on Thursday when he stated that three Caucasian guys on the UCLA Bruins were the sole reason the team couldn’t win a title this year.
“Realistically you can’t win no championship with three white guys because the foot speed is too slow,” Ball said, per Clay Fowler of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. “I told Lonzo—’One of these games you might need to go for 30 or 40 points.’ It turned out the that was the one game. Then once they get to the Elite 8, they’re right there.”
So naturally, he was booked to go on ESPN Los Angeles and comment further on why he said that. Not surprisingly, he probably made it that much worse when he pointed out that darker skin people seem to go harder to the basket than lighter skin people.
