Ryan Clark Says LaVar Ball Should Worry About His Son Playing Horribly Instead of Blaming White Players (VIDEO)
Ryan Clark dropped the hammer on LaVar Ball.
The former NFL safety took to Friday’s edition of ‘First Take’ to speak out against the comments LaVar Ball made when he blamed the UCLA’s “slow white players” for the team’s inability to get the job done and win a championship.
“Realistically you can’t win no championship with three white guys because the foot speed is too slow,” Ball said, per Clay Fowler of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. “I told Lonzo—’One of these games you might need to go for 30 or 40 points.’ It turned out the that was the one game. Then once they get to the Elite 8, they’re right there.”
Clark mentioned his son Lonzo playing terrible defense as a reason the team couldn’t advance, pointing out how he gave up 39 points to Kentucky guard De’Aaron Fox in the Sweet 16 this past March.
