Penguins Fan Stabbed In The Head; Refused To Seek Medical Aid Until After The Game
NHL playoff fever has taken over. For one Pittsburgh fan, that fever almost got him killed.
A die-hard Penguins fan was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver following an argument with an unnamed guy. Police were called to his autobody shop that was about four miles from the Pens’ arena late last night, towards the end of the second period of Pittsburgh’s game against the Blue Jackets, where the fan was found in a pool of his own blood.
He apparently refused medical attention for his bleeding head from the Paramedics, stating he would just drive himself to the hospital after the game was over. If he remained conscious throughout, he was able to see the Pens pull out a 3-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
