Stephen A. Smith: ‘Knicks Fans Need to Protest & Get Phil Jackson The Hell Out of NY’ (VIDEO)
Last week, New York Knicks president Phil Jackson threw shots at Carmelo Anthony by once again letting him know that he is no longer wanted on the team.
“We’ve not been able to win with (Anthony) on the court at this time,” Jackson said. “I think the direction with our team is that he’s a player that would be better off somewhere else and using his talent somewhere where he can win or chase that championship.”
Right now we need players who are really active can play every single play both offensively and defensively. We have some players right now who can do that and that’s the direction where we need to go.”
On Monday’s edition of ‘First Take’, Stephen A. Smith went the hell off on Carmelo for not defending himself against these attacks from Jackson, all while praising Kristaps Porzingis for skipping out on the exit meetings because he is said to be disappointed with the way the franchise is being run.
