REPORT: The Third Aaron Hernandez Suicide Note Was for His Laywer, NOT His Prison Lover
Sorry to disappoint you, internet, but that Aaron Hernandez suicide note that everyone thinks was written for his lover-slash-fellow prison inmate was in fact written to…his lawyer.
As has been widely reported, three suicide notes were found in the disgraced former NFL player’s cell after he committed suicide last week. One was written to his fiancée. One was written to his four-year-old daughter. And one was written to someone else.
Just yesterday, a friend of Hernandez issued a statement through his lawyer claiming the third letter was written to him, leading many to believe he was the one rumored to be romantically involved with Hernandez. However, “sources familiar with the investigation” told TMZ that the third letter was in fact addressed to Hernandez’s lawyer, Jose Baez.
The contents of the third letter are unknown at this point. Perhaps they contain some sort of confession, which would be a blessing to the families of those Hernandez is accused of killing. However, that’s unlikely given that a confession could potentially deprive his fiancée and daughter of millions of dollars of backpay from the New England Patriots and the NFL.
In any case, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I know how badly you wanted there to be a prison lover.
