Yankees’ Rookie Aaron Judge Destroys Big Screen TV with Batting Practice Bomb (Video)
Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge hit .179/.263/.345 after getting called up to the big leagues last August. The the 6’7″, 282-pound behemoth did show flashes of power, hitting a homer on his first at-bat, then cracking three more over the course of 27 games. But his debut was not exactly the stuff of legends.
What a difference six months can make.
Through the first 24 games of 2017, Judge is hitting .313/.424/.795 for an OPS of 1.219. On Tuesday night against the Blue Jays he hit his 11th and 12th homers of the season, leapfrogging the Brewers’ Eric Thames and the Nationals’ Ryan Zimmerman to take over the top spot in Major League Baseball.
Aaron Judge isn’t just crushing balls during games, though. He’s also been putting out epic displays of power during batting practice.

Here’s a better look at the damage from YES reporter Matt Stucko:
The Yankees might want to get some ushers with gloves out there to protect those TVs. Aaron Judge looks like he is here to stay.
