Sean Spicer Compares Clinton’s Election Loss To Falcons’ Super Bowl Collapse
Atlanta Falcons fans can’t even watch politics without being reminded of what happened in February.
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer took a not-so-subtle shot at Hillary Clinton’s defeat in the presidential election by comparing it to the epic collapse of the Falcons in Super Bowl LI against the New England Patriots.
Just recently, Clinton stated she would’ve won the election easily if FBI director James Comey didn’t write a letter to Congress on Oct. 28, 2016, requesting an investigation into her private email server.
Spicer, who is an avid Patriots fan, then brought up the Falcons blowing a 28-3 lead during the Super Bowl.
“I’m a Patriots fan and I think if games ended in the third quarter, there would have been a different team here last week. But you play a game (for) four quarters and you play an election until election day,” Spicer said during his press briefing Wednesday.
