REPORT: Aaron Hernandez Told Fellow Inmates He Was Planning NFL Return Just Days Before His Death
According to a source who claimed to be a close friend of Aaron Hernandez, he had plans of making an NFL return shortly after being found not guilty of a double-murder in Boston.
On Friday, ESPN’s Michelle Steele released the Department of Corrections report. It included many of the former Patriots TE’s close associates in prison who stated how upbeat Hernandez was before taking his life, even claiming he would make a comeback to the league one day.

One inmate also revealed Hernandez spoke about how an inmate would be acquitted of a crime if they passed away in prison while appealing their current conviction, which has also been a well-rumored motive as to why he ultimately hung himself in his prison cell.
