Draymond Unimpressed By Utah Jazz Fans: ‘They Talk Too Much. Shut Up’
Draymond Green is not impressed by the screaming fans in Utah.
Heading into Monday and looking for a sweep against the Utah Jazz – the Golden State Warriors forward stated he was expecting a much better crowd this past weekend during Game 3.
“I thought they would be louder than they were,” Draymond said on his “Dray Day” podcast. “It didn’t get as loud in there as I thought it would. It was OK. Their fans talk a little too much … shut up. No, I wasn’t really feeling their fans.
“They don’t make sense,” he added. “Some guy kept telling me to shoot the ball. Do you not realize I’m shooting 55 percent from three this series? Why would you want me shooting the basketball when I’m shooting that great?”
Green acknowledges he didn’t have a very good Game 3, but promised to shoot the rock as much as possible for the potential elimination game on Monday. He also took one final shot at the Utah crowd.
“Now of course I missed a few last night and like, whatever. I’m gonna shoot the piss out of it tomorrow, so that’s cool,” Green said. “Their fans just weren’t very smart. They talk too much. Shut up.”
