Titans Tackle Taylor Lewan Throws Catfish on Ice During Nashville Predators’ Historic Win (Video)
The Nashville Predators made history on Monday night.
Up three games to two on the Anaheim Ducks, the Predators needed just one more win to reach the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in franchise history. Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena has been an absolute madhouse throughout the Predators’ playoff run, and Game 6 was no exception.
After whipping the crowd into a frenzy before and during Game 3, Marcus and the Tennessee Titans offensive line were back in the house for Game 6. Once again Titans offensive guard Quinton Spain ended up with his shirt off. But this time they ALL brought giant catfish, in accordance with Predators tradition.

Nashville jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the first period. But, the Ducks made it a 2-1 game in the second, and they tied the game 3-3 roughly midway through the third.
From there, however, it was all Nashville. With six minutes left in regulation, Predators center Colton Sissons scored his third goal of the game, giving Nashville a lead they would not relinquish.
Naturally, fans showered the ice with hats. However, for Titans tackle Taylor Lewans it was time to throw the giant catfish.
Take a look:
Officially the Predators frown on the traditional catfish toss. But it sure doesn’t look like anybody made any effort to prevent Lewan from doing the honors on Monday.
As for the rest of the game, the Preds went on to score two empty net goals, defeating the Ducks 6-3 and becoming the first 16 seed in NHL history to reach the Stanley Cup Finals.
I think you can expect a pretty good turnout of Tennessee Titans players at Bridgestone Arena for Game 3.
