According To Spike Lee, Seattle Seahawks Have Signed Colin Kaepernick
For a few hours on Saturday, it seemed as if being a free agent on the market was a thing of the past for Colin Kaepernick.
In a since deleted post on Instagram, film director and avid New York Knicks fan Spike Lee gave a shout-out to Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll for signing Colin Kaepernick to a deal, but he later deleted the post.
Kaepernick recently visited the Seahawks as part of the club’s ongoing search for a backup quarterback behind Russell Wilson, and multiple reports indicated the meeting went very well.
There has been no confirmation of any type of deal since Spike Lee’s post.
Despite a report to the contrary, the Seahawks have not signed Colin Kaepernick. He visited Thursday, but nothing has happened since.
