Cleveland Cavaliers Unveil New Logos For 2018; Cavs Fans Hate It (PICS)
The season hasn’t even ended yet for the Cleveland Cavaliers and they are already trying to get their fans pumped up for next season.
Just before the Cavaliers are set to play the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, the team’s official Twitter account dropped some fire on their timeline, as they plan to get out with the old and in with the new.
For the 2017-2018 season and beyond, the team will be rocking a brand new logo:

Cavaliers will debut a new logo suite next year. Personally, I love it; especially that all-black crest. -CD pic.twitter.com/dOknMcHpJe

Here’s how the fan base reacted:
Font still bothers me. It’s not the same as the C. Very inconsistent. Black Global shield definitely means a black nike alternate is coming.

Bring back the 2003-2010 logo

Adding black as an “official color” might be the dumbest thing. Just make it navy instead.

Exactly the wrong moves. “C” logo is great but its refined curves don’t match pointy block letters. Should’ve gone back to mid-2000’s style

Darker black? Wine-r wine? Golder gold? Oh never mind, that’s right, you actually win and don’t try to fleece us like others do. #clowns

No… you are a basketball team, not a football (European) team…
