Apparently Russell Westbrook Was Watching ‘Sister Act 2’ During Game 1 of the NBA Finals
Every NBA player, every NBA executive, and ever NBA fan tuned in to watch Game 1 of the NBA Finals last night.
Cavs-Warriors III? The battle for NBA supremacy? Historical legacies on the line? The series has something for everybody. Everybody except Russell Westbrook, apparently, because he was watching Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.
Now, Sister Act 2 is obviously a tremendous film. It’s got Whoopi Goldberg in her prime. It’s got the fat nun, and the skinny nun, and the old nun, and the grumpy priest. Most importantly, it’s got pre-Fugees Lauren Hill singing churchy doo-wop. It’s basically perfect. But if forced to choose, most of us would DVR Sister Act 2 and watch Game 1 of the NBA Finals live.
Not Westbrook, though. Totally uninterested in watching former teammate Kevin Durant play for a ring, he had a Sister Act 2 sing-along in his living room. And naturally he posted clips of it on Snapchat.
Take a look:
