REPORT: Eddie Lacy Needs To Weigh 250 lbs or Less By Monday To Earn An Extra $55K
It was reported back in March that running back Eddie Lacy had a unique clause with the Seattle Seahawks which will afford him a total of $385,000 if he’s able to make weight at seven different weigh-ins throughout the season.
In May, the first incentive was for him to weigh 255 pounds or less on May 15. He accomplished that goal and was rewarded with a $55,000 bonus for doing so.
It’s June and it’s incentive time once again. This upcoming Monday, Lacy can earn yet another $55,000 if he weighs 250 pounds or less, according to ESPN.
Lacy was signed by the Seahawks in March to a one-year, $5.5-million deal that includes $3 million in guarantees.
