Adorable Young Penguins Fan Cries After Sidney Crosby Signs His T-Shirt (Video)
Heading into the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs, there wasn’t much doubt that Sidney Crosby would go down as one of the greatest hockey players of all time. The guy had averaged 1.32 points per game during the regular season throughout his career, winning two Stanley Cups, two Hart Trophies as regular season MVP, and one Conn Smythe trophy as postseason MVP.
However, just in case there were still a few haters who still thought he was overrated, this spring Crosby went out and led the Pittsburgh Penguins to their second straight Stanley Cup and his second straight Conn Smyth Trophy. The Penguins are now the first team to repeat as champions in the salary cap era, and Crosby has more Stanley Cup rings as a player than Mario Lemieux. And that’s kind of a big deal.
I mention all this in order to provide some context for the adorable video you are about to see. On Monday, an adorable young Pittsburgh Penguins fan managed to get Sidney Crosby to autograph his t-shirt, and he just could not contain his emotions when he got interviewed by WTAE-TV Pittsburgh.
