More Details on Mayweather vs. McGregor: Number of Rounds, Weight Class & Showtime Poster
Yesterday, it was made official. We were finally going to have the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing match that we had all been waiting for. And it was going to take place on August 26 of this year at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Today, we have more details about the fight:
- The fight will be a 12 round boxing match.
- The fight will take place at 154 pounds.
- Both fighters will be tested by the USADA for PEDs.
- There will be an undercard and it will consist of boxing matches, although the exact bouts are not yet known.
Dana White has also stated that McGregor is expected to make around $100-million for the fight, although he would not divulge any exact figures. He also said he does not believe we’ll be seeing Roy Jones Jr. vs. Anderson Silva in the undercard, which will be handled by Mayweather Promotions.
As for ticket prices, they have yet to be set, but should be known soon. Stay tuned.
