Conor McGregor’s Sparring Partner Says He Has NO CHANCE vs. Mayweather (Video)
Right now, Floyd Mayweather is currently listed as a -600 favorite against Conor McGregor, while the UFC champion is offering a 4-1 payout for bettors. According to a former sparing partner of McGregor, those odds are not even close to where they should be.
TMZ recently caught up with former IBO welterweight champion Chris van Heerden. You may remember Chris as the guy who sparred with McGregor back in May 2016.
According to Heerden, he was able to dominate McGregor during their sparring match, despite coming off a vacation and being out of shape. Heerden claims he was able to land at will, and he expects it to be much more lopsided when the inexperienced McGregor steps into the ring with a 49-0 Mayweather on August 26 in Las Vegas.
Heerden says that even if McGregor does land a lucky blow, he still won’t have enough power to knock out Floyd, reminding the reporter that “Money” Mayweather’s been hit by much harder punchers than Conor and survived.
I can’t say I don’t agree with every single thing Heerden is saying. What are your thoughts? Check out the video below and decide for yourself:
