Saskatchewan Roughriders Cut Vince Young Following Torn Hamstring
This was not the ideal way Vince Young saw his comeback going.
Just three months after deciding he wanted to continue his football career, the former NFL quarterback signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.
After suffering a torn hamstring on June 6th, Young’s agent Leigh Steinberg announced Saturday that the 34-year-old had been waived by the team.

Young was expected to compete for the starting job alongside veteran QB Kevin Glenn. The 34-year-old last appeared in an NFL game in 2011 with the Philadelphia Eagles, and most recently with the Green Bay Packers, but failed to make the team coming out of training camp.
