Adrien Broner Wants To Fight Nate Diaz on Mayweather-McGregor Undercard (VIDEO)
Adrien Broner wants some of that MMA-Boxing action as well.
In the midst of promoting his upcoming date with undefeated boxer Mikey Garcia on Monday, Broner stated if he came out of this bout untouched and victorious, he’d like to take on Nate Diaz on the undercard of an August superfight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.
“After this fight, I feel like if I come out untouched, you know, I feel like I’ll be victorious, I feel like I should come back and fight on Floyd’s undercard against Nate Diaz,” Broner said.
Diaz actually applied for a boxing license in the state of Nevada earlier this year, but the odds of him and Broner getting in a ring on the undercard of Mayweather-McGregor is nonexistent. Mayweather Promotions boss Leonard Ellerbe has already stated numerous times that the megabout’s undercard will only feature career boxers.
