Lonzo Ball Is Trying to Convince LeBron James to Come to the Lakers Already (VIDEO)
It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Lakers are likely going to select former UCLA star Lonzo Ball with the second overall pick in tonight’s NBA Draft. It is also no secret that the Lakers will be looking to add some veteran talent over the next couple of years—namely, the likes of Paul George and LeBron James, who have both expressed an interest in heading west once their current contracts expire (if not before then).
It was previously reported that LeBron would be interested in playing for one of the teams in L.A., as he owns a home in the area and his wife has expressed a strong desire to raise her family there.
So, with both the Clippers and Lakers vying for King James’ services after he finishes out the final year of his current contract with the Cavs, Lonzo Ball decided to do his best to try and recruit the three-time NBA Finals MVP during an appearance on SportsCenter’s “The Six,” with Jemele Hill and Michael Smith.
Check it out:
Will Lonzo Ball’s recruiting work? Only time will tell.
