The Jimmy Butler Trade Was So Bad For The Chicago Bulls That NBA 2K Rejects It
One of the most surprising transactions on NBA Draft night was the Chicago Bulls parting ways with star guard Jimmy Butler, when they traded him and the 16th pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn, and the sixth pick.
The trade was so bad and shocking that most NBA experts were left dumbfounded as to what the Bulls were doing and how this would affect the state of the franchise for years to come.
That trade not only confused experts and their fans, but it was so bad that even NBA 2K rejects it. This is what happens when you try to make that trade on the popular game:
“You’re asking me to give away a valuable asset (Jimmy Butler) when none of the assets I get back seems nearly as valuable. That’s not happening.”
