SportScience Breaks Down Mayweather-McGregor…And Why McGregor Has NO CHANCE (Video)
As the McGregor-Mayweather fight nears, we’ve heard a litany of explanations as to why McGregor is due to lose. However, we haven’t seen one as scientifically rooted as this one that was done by ESPN’s SportsScience.
Have a watch:
Conor McGregor might be the most technique-driven MMA puncher out there, but his style of fighting is dependent on having an opponent slow enough to let him wind up and connect. Floyd Mayweather is not that person.
Rather, Mayweather can dodge just about anything and respond quickly with counterpunches. And while Mayweather might not have the same amount of power as McGregor, he’s still got plenty. In fact, his strength rivals that of McGregor’s recent opponent, Nate Diaz, who was able to dethrone the king last year.
Sure, Conor’s stronger, but not nearly enough to make up for the difference in speed.
It’s going to be a bloodbath…or is it?
