Mayweather vs. McGregor World Tour Kicks Off July 11 in Los Angeles (Tweet)
Pay-per-view prices for the long-awaited superfight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have not been announced. However, it is expected they will exceed $100.
That would be bad news if there was even a remote chance the actual fight might not suck. However, there isn’t even a remote chance the actual fight might not suck. So the best part of this whole circus is going to be all the pre-fight trash talk. And it turns out that won’t cost you a dime!
On Thursday night, Staples Center officials announced via Twitter that the official Mayweather vs. McGregor World Tour will kick off in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 11. Tickets to the “press conference”—which will basically consist of Conor McGregor cursing at Floyd Mayweather for about 45 minutes—will become available to the public at 12pm local time on Friday. And they will be absolutely FREE.

Originally it was thought the Mayweather-McGregor promotional tour would kick off in London. However, that has obviously changed.
Future dates and stops on the tour have yet to be announced. But stay tuned. If it comes to a city near you, and the tickets are free—or at least less than $100—you should totally go. It will be a lot more entertaining than the fight itself.
