Internet Reacts to Lonzo Ball’s HORRIBLE Lakers Debut (TWEETS)

Yesterday, during an NBA Summer League game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Lonzo Ball made his highly-anticipated debut with the L.A. Lakers…

And it went horribly.

Not only did his team lose in overtime, 96-93, but you could actually argue that Ball was to blame for his team’s shortcomings.

When it was all said and done, the second-overall pick recorded just five points on 2-of-15 shooting, while adding 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block.  And if his 13.3% average from the field wasn’t bad enough, how about his 1-of-11 shooting from beyond the arc (9.1% average)?

To make matters worse, this performance came while LaVar was busy guaranteeing “Rookie of the Year” honors for his son:


Of course, Twitter was quick to call out Lonzo, LaVar, Magic, and anyone else they could think of following a forgettable debut for their supposed “new face of the franchise”:
