Lonzo Ball Suddenly Has a Sore Groin & Will Miss Rematch Against Kings’ De’Aaron Fox
Earlier this year, De’Aaron Fox put the sports world on notice when he absolutely cooked Lonzo Ball, lighting him up for 39 points back when they faced each other in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament in March.
Everyone has been patiently awaiting for the rematch between these two. It would’ve happened tonight in the NBA’s summer league, but Lonzo suddenly needed to rest his groin and was ruled out.
Summer League letdown: I’m told Lakers’ Lonzo Ball will rest a sore groin tonight & miss a faceoff/rematch against Kings’ De’Aaron Fox.

Now when you say groin injury, do you mean he pissed his pants when he found out he was going against Fox? — Fleenor (@King49er) July 10, 2017
