Ticket Prices for Mayweather-McGregor Already as High as $82,000! (Pics)
If you were thinking of taking a trip to Vegas to see boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather take on MMA superstar “The Notorious” Conor McGregor, you’d better get your finances in order. Getting into T-Mobile Arena on August 26 is gonna cost ya.
Despite numerous assurances from boxing experts that the actual fight is going to be a complete and utter joke, ticket prices for the spectacle on various ticket re-sale sights have already rocketed into the stratosphere.
On Stubhub, prices at time of writing range from $2,444 in one upper end to $29,999.88 on the floor. However, those floor seats don’t even have a row assignment, so you’re taking a bit of a gamble if you buy them.
Prices are even crazier on Vivid Seats. While a seat in the nosebleeds is going for about the same as on Stubhub, there are currently floor seats listed for as high as $81,978.00.
In case you were wondering, the median household income in the United States is $51,939. So basically, the upper deck at Mayweather-McGregor might be a bunch of 20-percenters, but down below it’s going to be all one-percenters.
And all for a fight that’s going to be a whole lot of nothing.
