Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona was unable to fulfill his duties leading the American League All-Star team following a heart procedure, but that didn’t stop the skipper from making an appearance in the locker room.

Sort of.

In his absence, Cleveland bench coach Brad Mills filled in, but he made sure that everyone paid their respects to Francona…by bringing in an oddly ripped cardboard cutout of the man.

Seems fitting, right? I mean, except for the pecs and abs.

Francona is currently resting at home just a week removed from the procedure.  He hopes to be back in the dugout soon, fully recovered.
