Lonzo Ball Ditches Signature ZO2s For Kobes At Summer League; Drops 36 Pts, 11 Asts, 8 Rebs, 5 Stls
Despite the uproar on social media after his signature $495 ZO2 Primes dropped, rookie point guard Lonzo Ball ditched them on Wednesday night for pair of Kobes during the Los Angeles Lakers’ summer league contest against the Philadelphia 76ers.
With the ZO2’s, he scored 5 points in his first summer league game, and he followed that up with 11 points to go along with a triple-double in his 2nd summer league contest.
With the Kobe’s on last night, he put up a stat line of 36 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds, and five steals in a Lakers win against the Sixers.

What isn’t clear is whether his recent injury had anything to do with the change, as the No. 2 overall pick was forced to miss Monday’s contest against the Sacramento Kings with a sore groin.
