LaVar Ball Says He Was A Better Tight End Than Rob Gronkowski (AUDIO)
LaVar has taken his trolling from basketball players to football players.
After taking using trash talk skills on Michael Jordan, LaVar Ball turned his attention to one of the best tight ends in the game right now in Rob Gronkowski, saying he would’ve been “too fast, too strong” and a better athlete than him.
“Gronkowski can’t hang with me back in my heyday.”
Ball signed with the New York Jets in 1994 and spent time on the Carolina Panthers practice squad in ’96, but never played a single down in the league.
This is what a former teammate had to say about LaVar Ball on the team back in the day.
Former Jet Marvin Williams recalled his time with Ball when they were both on the team, saying, “I remember Ball very well. He was a very athletic guy and raw. I remember him very well because he played only one year of college football. I remember a very confident guy and, yes, he voiced his opinion and was cocky, but overall seemed like a great guy.”
