Michael Jordan Says LaVar Ball Couldn’t Beat Him 1-on-1 If He Were ‘One-Legged’ (VIDEO)
Finally, the great one has responded.
LaVar Ball has been trolling and saying outlandish things about his skills on the basketball court for a while now, like the time he told USA Today, “Back in my heyday, I would kill Michael Jordan one-on-one.”
“I would just back [Jordan] in and lift him off the ground and call a foul every time he fouls me when I do a jump hook to the right or the left,” Ball added. “He cannot stop me one-on-one. He better make every shot ’cause he can’t go around me. He’s not fast enough. And he can only make so many shots outside before I make every bucket under the rim.”
He’s been itching for a response from Jordan, but MJ never took the bait.
That was until Ryne Nelson of Slam Online cornered the Chicago Bulls legend at his flight camp in California and asked about the many comments LaVar Ball made towards him. In response, Jordan finally gave the quote that LaVar has been seeking all this time.
“You got to understand the source. I think he played college, maybe? He averaged 2.2 points a game. Really? It doesn’t deserve a response, but I’ma give it to you because you asked the question,” Jordan said. “I don’t think he could beat me if I was one-legged.”
