Tom Brady Puts Gronk on a Diet, Is Even Cooking Meals for Him

Rob Gronkowski left the 2016 season in unceremonious fashion thanks to a back injury. In 2017, he’s taking a page out of Tom Brady’s longevity playbook to ensure that he finds success on the field, not just this year, but well into the future.

Brady, along with his nutritionist, Alex Guerrero, has taken to putting Gronk on a regimen, even going so far as to cook for the hard-partying tight end. Said Gronk of Brady’s vegan entrees, “I told him I’m only eating them if you have them ready for me. And he said, ‘Deal.'”

As for the drinking, the rule in place is that for every non-approved (booze) drink that Gronk has, he must drink three glasses of water. Sounds like a decent enough plan, though that could get dicey around beer number ten or so.

Nonetheless, it seems to be working, according to Gronk. I feel looser. I feel my mobility has increased a lot. I feel way more pliable,” he says.
