30K Roger Goodell Clown Towels To Be Passed Out At Patriots Season Opener, With Goodell In Attendance
Winning the Super Bowl in spite of star QB Tom Brady being suspended for the first four games wasn’t enough for New England Patriots fans to get back at Roger Goodell. They had to think bigger. Much bigger.
‘Deflategate’ may be over, but the trolling of the commissioner has just begun. Barstool Sports, who created the now infamous Goodell clown shirt sported by Pats defensive coordinator Matt Patricia, plan on passing out roughly 30,000 Goodell clown shirts while the commissioner is in attendance at Gillette Stadium for the first time since the 2015 AFC Championship game.

Gillette Stadium has a seating capacity of 66,829 and it is unknown how the towels will be passed out…or if Goodell will somehow get these things blocked.
