Jacksonville Jaguars Play VOLLEYBALL at Practice, Which Explains a Lot (Video)
Everybody knows the Jacksonville Jaguars suck at football. Now we finally know why.
Turns out they’ve been practicing the wrong damn sport.
On Wednesday, Jaguars beat reporter John Reid of the Florida Times Union tweeted out a video from Jags training camp that shows players doing a drill with volleyballs instead of footballs.
Why? Well, that’s million dollar question, isn’t it? Nobody knows! In the drill, the receiver runs out a few yards, a coach bounces a volleyball off the ground, and the receiver catches it.
As you may know, volleyballs are lighter and easier to catch than footballs. They don’t take irregular bounces, and they have completely different aerodynamic properties. It’s hard to imagine how running a drill with volleyballs could have any benefits whatsoever.
And yet, here we are:

Hard to believe the Jags haven’t had a winning season since 2007, isn’t it?
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Bill Belichick had somebody spread a rumor that this is what the Patriots do in practice just to f*%# with people.
